August 1, 2003 - Overview
Developing a program which uses Artificial Intelligence to pick stocks is not an easy task.  For one thing, the educational prerequisites are pretty substantial.  We need to achieve mastery in the following fields:

- Artificial Intelligence (including Genetic Algorithms and Neural Networks)
- Behavioral Economics
- Computer Programming (including Linux, C, PHP, MySQL)
- Finance (including financial statement interpretation)
- History (events from 0 A.D. to present)
- Mathematics
- Money Management
- Psychology
- Statistics (including Decision Science)
- Stocks and other financial instruments
- ...and several other fields

Computerized Trading Systems are here to stay and we're out to build the best.

The payoff is huge!  Read about what we're doing and if you're patient and motivated, consider joining the development team.

July 17, 2003 - Salvucci discusses the AIStockBot project
I'm dedicating ten years towards the development of AIStockBot.  We will soon be completing Year One.  I would like to thank everyone who has helped make it a success thus far. If your new to AIStockBot, read this theory document which explains a little about us.

Lately, I've been doing a lot of research. Seeing how most participants (including myself) lacked the full prerequisite knowledge required for this undertaking, I decided to begin writing a book to get everyone up to speed.   I'm not sure how I'll be publishing the book yet.  I've been in talks with a publisher and I might even go the cafepress.com route.  I'm also not sure if I should release the book's contents once a month as I go (using print-on-demand technology), or wait until I'm completely finished.  What do you think?

The reason for the book printing is because the information I'm writing is worth keeping and it makes it an easy way to reference the material.

September 9, 2002 - We open our doors!
